What Petition?
Submitted by Adam Beck on Sat, 05/02/2009 - 20:16In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah; and he had a wife from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. They were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both advanced in years.
A Word Paints a Thousand Pictures
Submitted by Adam Beck on Sat, 05/02/2009 - 18:37“Thank you, LORD that You are the Giver of all good things. Every good and perfect gift is from above; coming down from the Father of Lights, in Whom is no variableness or shadow of turning.” I memorized the first chapter of James over ten years ago. During that time I was reading the King James Version. =) Then I continued onto verse 18. “Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth…”
What did you call me?

"And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, 'Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?'
And Jesus said unto him, 'Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor thy father and mother.'
And he answered and said unto him, 'Master, all these have I observed from my youth.'
My Name is Jerry
Submitted by Adam Beck on Wed, 07/23/2008 - 11:38I'm sorry I haven't written in a while. Right now I'm in Muncie, Indiana. I've been here for a week. I was on the road with Denver for five days before I arrived here.
I'm working on a movie called My Name is Jerry. I'm in the sound department. My responsibilities include placing microphones, boom operator, cable wrangler, and whatever else the sound mixer needs me to do.
I'll be back in Nashville this weekend.

Dear Friends and Family,
I apologize for the past nearly nine weeks of silence. The truth is there just hasn't been much to tell. But now I think I have enough to give you a brief update of what is going on with the band/me.

Dear Friends and Family,
The show is over. On Friday night the final episode was broadcast. The Clark Brothers won, followed by Sixwire. We placed third. Thank you so much for watching the show and for spending hours of your time voting for Denver and the Mile High Orchestra. Personally, I am so grateful to all of you for your support. It just blows my mind when I think of all the people who invested into D&MHO during the past 10 Fridays. Thank you also to everyone I saw on Friday night. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
